Hole 15.

The Viewpoint.

Few holes tee off from so high, a feature that makes it the it the most extraordinary par four on the course. The tee-off point is some 30 metres above the ball drop zone. The wind, always lateral, conditions the shot. Catching the fairway is more important than approaching the green. In addition, the lake, out of bounds to the right, and an estuary before the green penalise players.
Going short and leaving an easy approach to the green is the most advisable. The marked drops and the estuary force players to get close to the flag. In short, it is a hole designed to be conservative.
